The challenge

Belden Cekan A/S wanted to reduce duplicate entry by connecting its ERP system with production management.

Dynamics AX is widely used by manufacturers, especially in plastics. The challenge was to exchange production data automatically in both directions without manual intervention.

The solution

Envio developed a custom integration between Visiolog MESPro and Dynamics AX. Orders planned in Dynamics AX flow automatically into Visiolog and onto machine terminals. Production figures are returned to Dynamics AX twice a day.

  • No paper production sheets

    All data is available on Visiolog machine terminals. No paper or typing errors.

  • Automatic daily reporting

    Two daily production reports are generated and sent automatically to Dynamics AX. No manual counting.

  • Visibility across both systems

    Belden Cekan can follow production in both systems: live in Visiolog and historically in Dynamics AX.
