Business Central integration

At Elbæk & Vejrup, Visiolog MESPro and Microsoft Business Central exchange data automatically.

The challenge

Elbæk & Vejrup wanted to remove duplicate entry and manual data handling between the shop floor and ERP. Microsoft Business Central handles orders and inventory, but production data previously had to be entered manually after every completed run, taking time and causing errors.

With the integration, data flows automatically in both directions. We never need to enter the same information twice.

The solution

Envio developed a custom integration between Visiolog MESPro and Microsoft Business Central. Orders are created and planned in Business Central, then imported automatically into Visiolog for the production terminals. When an order is completed in Visiolog, production data is sent back automatically.

The integration handles master data for items, machines and materials, keeping both systems in sync without manual intervention.

Results

    Orders and production data transfer automatically between Business Central and Visiolog. No manual exports or imports.

    Business Central receives regular production updates to keep inventory and order status current.

  • Data directly on the terminals
